01 / Beyond the pardoned offense

Separate cases. Not a clean slate.

Four people who benefited from Trump's January 6 action have separate sexual-offense convictions documented below. All four cases involve minors or solicitation of someone believed to be a minor. Those crimes were not pardoned by the January 6 order.

These are individually sourced cases, not a background check of every recipient or a count of crimes committed after release. The January 6 action included pardons, commutations and case dismissals. Each card identifies the relief and the separate case. Absence from this review does not establish a clean history.

Associated Press reported that Johnson received a life sentence on March 5, 2026, after a Florida jury convicted him of child molestation and related offenses. His January 6 pardon did not cover those state crimes.

The sentence came after clemency. That sequence alone does not establish when every act of abuse occurred.

The Houston Chronicle reported that Taake pleaded guilty on September 30, 2025, in a solicitation case dating to 2016. He received a three-year sentence, with jail credit that meant no additional prison time. The case involved an undercover officer posing as a minor, not an identified child victim.

The solicitation case predated his pardon. The pardon covered his Capitol case, not this Texas offense.

DOJ announced that Colton was sentenced to 80 months in prison for receiving child sexual abuse material. Prosecutors' trial brief says his January 6 case was dismissed under Trump's order before sentencing, but the court rejected his attempt to use that pardon to dismiss the separate abuse-material case.

DOJ dates the downloading to July 2022 through December 2023, before the January 2025 order. The later conviction was not for conduct newly committed after clemency.

DOJ reported a four-year prison sentence and five years of supervised release following Tocci's September 2025 guilty plea. Investigators found the material in November 2023. NBC News reported that he had received January 6 clemency; the separate possession prosecution continued.

The evidence was discovered before clemency. DOJ announced the sentence on March 30, 2026, after the court had imposed it.

02 / Money & access

The donor. The money. The relief.

Trevor Milton gave to Trump's fundraising operation before his pardon. Paul Walczak's mother gave to a pro-Trump super PAC twenty days before her son's pardon. Charles Kushner's donation shown here came after his pardon. The dates, donors and destinations matter.

Our view

These financial connections warrant scrutiny of who gets access to presidential mercy. The documented overlap raises questions about access; it does not establish that a pardon was bought. Money from relatives or companies must not be passed off as a recipient's personal gift.

6 selected recipient connections. Campaign fundraising, super PAC contributions and inaugural donations are different destinations, none automatically a payment to Trump personally. The amounts below are selected transactions, not complete donor histories. A commutation and a pretrial pardon are labeled separately.

Campaign Legal Center's February 17, 2026 FEC complaint cites two reported contributions under Isabela Herrera's name, totaling $3.5 million. Both preceded her father's January 15 pardon. The complaint links the donations to published FEC filings.

CLC alleges that her father supplied the money through a straw-donor arrangement. That is a complaint by an advocacy organization, not an FEC finding or a proven purchase of a pardon. The listed donor remains Isabela Herrera.

The counting rules

Records, not a ranking of people

The dashboard uses the same sourced, September 26, 2026 snapshot as the investigation. The individual-grant roster reaches September 8, 2026. These are not live totals.

Each directory entry counts once per matching category, regardless of the number of legal counts. Categories overlap, so their totals cannot be added together. Keyword groupings use the source offense text only; they do not determine guilt, severity or a personal relationship to Trump. Broad or unclear offense descriptions may fall under other listed offenses.

Search, record group, clemency type and term filter this directory and its charts, not the separate-case or donation sections above. Selecting a category also filters the year chart; selecting a year also filters the category chart. Each chart keeps its own options visible so you can change the selection. The case list and summary totals apply every active filter.

Some individuals received more than one grant, some grants cover companies, and uncertain name variants remain separate. Four amended warrants are folded into the earlier records. Blanket proclamations cover unnamed beneficiaries, so the directory is not a complete count of everyone granted clemency.

January 6 categories use original charges, including counts that may have been dismissed or rejected. Election-proclamation records are not treated as convictions. Money-laundering-law entries include compliance failures, not necessarily personal laundering transactions. Historical fines and restitution are not summed into a supposed victim-loss total.

Sexual offenses and offenses involving minors are separate, overlapping categories when the listed offense establishes both. Minor-related offenses also include nonsexual crimes, such as using people under 18 in a drug enterprise. A zero means no matching description in the selected records, not that every recipient has been cleared of such conduct. Separate convictions, later cases and allegations outside the clemency case are not included in these counts.

Historical Mann Act cases are counted separately rather than automatically labeled sexual abuse. Jack Johnson's entry lists the White Slave Traffic Act, another name for the Mann Act. The 2018 White House pardon statement describes the longstanding view of his prosecution as a racially motivated injustice. The statute name alone does not establish sexual assault or a minor victim.
