March 1: 'force never seen before'
Trump's Truth archives a March 1, 2026 post warning Iran against striking and threatening a U.S. Response with force 'never seen before.' The archive marks the post as removed from Truth Social.
Trump did not frame the March 1 message as diplomacy. The archived post said an Iranian strike would be met with military force.
March 13: 'totally destroying' Iran's regime
Trump's Truth archives a March 13 post in which Trump said the United States was 'totally destroying' Iran's regime. The same archived post said Iran's navy and air force were gone.
The archive also preserves March 13 reposts describing the Kharg Island bombing raid and warning that interference with the Strait of Hormuz would cause him to reconsider sparing oil infrastructure.
March 18 and March 26: allies and NATO
On March 18, Trump's Truth archives a post asking what would happen if the United States finished off what remained of Iran and left the Strait to countries that use it. Trump wrote that the United States did not use the so-called 'Straight.'
On March 26, the archive shows a post saying NATO nations had done 'absolutely nothing' to help with Iran and that the United States needed nothing from NATO. The same post told NATO to 'never forget' the moment.
March 23 to March 30: talks beside threats
On March 23, Trump's Truth archives a post saying the United States and Iran had held 'very good and productive conversations' and that strikes on Iranian power plants and energy infrastructure would be postponed for five days.
On March 26, a later archived post said Trump was pausing energy-plant destruction for 10 days after what he described as an Iranian government request. On March 30, another archived post said the United States was in serious discussions with a new Iranian regime while threatening power plants, oil wells, Kharg Island, and possibly desalination plants if a deal and Hormuz reopening did not arrive.
March 31: 'Go get your own oil'
Trump's March 31 archived post addressed countries short of jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz. He told them to buy from the United States or 'just TAKE IT.'
The post singled out the United Kingdom for refusing to get involved in what Trump called the decapitation of Iran. It ended with the line: 'Go get your own oil.'
April 7: annihilation warning, then ceasefire
On the morning of April 7, Trump's Truth archives a post warning that 'a whole civilization will die tonight.' AP reported on that threat the same day while covering the diplomatic scramble around Iran and Hormuz.
By early evening, Trump's Truth archives a different post. Trump said conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir of Pakistan led him to suspend bombing and attacks on Iran for two weeks, subject to Iran agreeing to the 'complete, immediate, and safe opening' of the Strait of Hormuz.
The April 7 ceasefire post also said the United States had 'met and exceeded all Military objectives' and had received a 10-point proposal from Iran.
April 8: peace, reconstruction, and new conditions
At 12:01 a.m. On April 8, Trump's Truth archives a post calling it a big day for world peace. Trump wrote that Iran wanted peace, that the United States would help with traffic in the Strait of Hormuz, and that Iran could start reconstruction.
At 7:22 a.m., a second archived April 8 post said the United States would work closely with Iran after what Trump called regime change. The same post said Iran would have no uranium enrichment and that nuclear material would be dug up and removed.
At 7:30 a.m., another April 8 post said any country supplying military weapons to Iran would face a 50 percent tariff on all goods sold to the United States.
April 9 to April 11: Hormuz complaints returned
On April 9, Trump's Truth archives a tanker-fee warning. Trump wrote that reports of Iran charging fees to tankers in the Strait of Hormuz had better stop.
Later April 9, another archived post said Iran was doing a poor job allowing oil through the Strait of Hormuz. On April 11, Trump posted that the United States had destroyed Iran's navy and air force and that the Strait would soon be open.
A separate April 11 post said the United States was starting to clear the Strait of Hormuz for countries including China, Japan, South Korea, France, and Germany.
April 12: two removed posts, then two live versions
Trump's Truth archives two April 12 posts marked removed. The first said Iran promised to open the Strait of Hormuz and failed. The second said the United States Navy would begin blockading ships entering or leaving the Strait.
The archive shows later April 12 live versions of both posts. The live blockade version said the United States would interdict vessels in international waters that paid tolls to Iran and would destroy mines laid in the straits.
The live version also said other countries would be involved in the blockade and that the U.S. Military was locked and loaded.
April 13 to April 15: the blockade became the public line
At 12:43 a.m. On April 13, Trump's Truth archives a post saying the United States would blockade ships entering or exiting Iranian ports at 10:00 a.m. Eastern.
Later April 13, another post said 34 ships had gone through the Strait of Hormuz the previous day. A separate April 13 post warned Iranian fast-attack ships near the blockade.
On April 15, Trump's archive includes a post telling Pope Leo that Iran having a nuclear bomb was unacceptable. Another April 15 post shared a Just the News story about Iran oil storage and the Trump blockade.
